Ontario police have no way to determine liability if the card they are presented is valid and they do not know or care if the person driving the vehicle is listed as a driver (everything they want they can leave the holder to drive the vehicle). But why even bother to buy insurance, if you let an excluded driver of the vehicle. They recognize that the insurance does not pay a cent if your husband has an accident?
