So, today is my 18th birthday so I went to get my own insurance under my name. My DMV record is squeaky clean, but the insurance listing (or whatever it’s called) show’s that I’ve been in 3 auto accidents & filed claims where I was at fault (one resulting in Bodily Injury) which I HAVE NOT BEEN IN. I have NEVER been in an accident. WHAT DO I DO? The insurance company I was at said that he really didn’t know what I should do. Any suggestions? Thank you!
contact an attorney ASAP
the agent should be able to tell you the dates on the accidents. then go to the dmv and see if they can help you straighten it out. is your name the same as your mom or dad? if so, that could be where the mix up is. if not, and you are currently listed under your parents policy, ask their agent about it. they may be able to help since you have been insured with them, they would know if you had any accidents.
almost sounds as if your social security card # has been stolen & used fradulently – all insurances need your SS# – theywon’t even quote me a price on auto insurance without it…
Do a credit report check & see if anything pops up -
and then seek the advice of an attorney
You’re very pretty.
