WHAT stats? You’ve got another agent giving you a real rate. No other agent here has your credit score, age, and territory code, let alone state, to give you more information than you already have.

Move your policy to your friend.

And don’t bet that you won’t need that med pay at $10K – those health insurance policies all have copays and deductibles, and if your buddy needs $100,000 of hospitalization, most likely his health insurance won’t cover more than $80,000 of it. And yours, too.

Your friend may be giving you good advice. However, does that person have an insurance license? Sounds like your friends agent is trying to steal your agent’s business.

Discuss the changes with your agent and stick to the agent that you have unless your not satisfied with the service. It’s not right for an agent to steal someone else’s customers, espcially from the same company.
