I currently have auto insurance directly, but I want to switch companies to get a lower rate. I’ve never had to cancel my insurance before the term, and my appeal is only in November 2010. my question is, how can I do this (if I can), and should I pay?
They should not be calculated. Call the company you want to go and for a new policy, and takes effect immediately. As soon as you want proof of insurance, (most corporate e-mail that you have evidence) you can leave your business and tell them to call your resignation. I changed companies before and I always get a refund for the moment I do not have used.
