It’s up to them why didn’t you just have yours do it and then it’s over they collect from them> Car fixed> If parts have to be ordered an the damage >Few day to weeks> If you have rental on your policy contact your company>> So you could get a car to drive>
Heres a little trick you can use. It has worked for me twice. Tell the other guys insurance company that you use the car for business, and until you get it fixed, you will be claiming “down time” The insurance company WILL NOT be too happy about having to pay you for down time and will get things taken care of very quickly!
