Into a minor collision where the other is to blame, no auto insurance presentable on the site?

I was true in a minor collision where I am not at fault. I am living in Canada shot the other driver to the right at a red light without fuse with the right lanes on a 2-lane highway, a double lane change, without their signal in my right front bumper, while I was driving left lane (I had the right of way).

It gave me all the information to interact with him, I have his code, the vehicle number (PIN) and the license number of Ontario. I have pictures of the damage to the stage with my phone. But he has no proof of insurance with him during the collision (I know it’s illegal), because it is under his insurance company. So I took him to report to the police station. The police said there was below $ 1,000 damage to my vehicle, he would have to be settled between the insurance automobile. So should I contacted my car insurance provider a right, but I have no information of the other drivers insurance. Even after I called the company, its main supervisor and the person at fault for at least a week without the names of insurance companies, telephone number and policy.
You have done everything by the book.
I would contact the police departments non emergency line and inform them that you are unable to obtain proof of insurance for you minor accident.

If they are not insured or unwilling to provide proof of insurance – they are breaking the law. You have a police report filed, you have everything documented. You can stop playing nice now.
