My premiums are rising and falling on my regular health insurance, I choose my insurance. I have no family to support or protect, property and my rent is very cheap, because I share a single, and am home. I have also accumulated 80 days sick at work to cover minor illnesses and injuries, to cover their paychecks already. Am I a mistake in the abolition of the disability?
If you are the priority
1. Drop the short-term disability
2. Increase the waiting period (ie free) of long-term disability at 90 days or six months,
3. Check your health insurance. As you say, check your health in more franchises to the hospital, additional co-payments for doctor visits and medications.
4. No health problems, but also the savings mount comprehensive and collision deductibles on your auto insurance to reduce premiums.
