My car insurance has doubled? Result of an accident in a parking lot?

I take a great ride until I had a recent accident in a parking lot. It was not my fault but I could not prove it. The police do not come from the parking lot accidents. It was not reported to DMV. Hartford punished me by doubling my annual premium for the next three years. They said accident forgiveness is not allowed in California, not from Allstate. Is that true? If no police report on the accident insurance company nor the DMV accident?

I want to change insurance company and I wonder whether another company should know about the accident on parking? I have no tickets on record. Normally, my accident was with a woman of 92. The woman drove into the parking lot next to the exit of the alley, and I was just starting when she was driving behind me. I had two witnesses. I was told because I support that my debt was now no matter what she does. Well, I hope I can change insurance for a good price.

The accident occurred on a private parking lot – shopping, personal residence, small businesses. It was not on a public road, street, between the States in an accident between two parties. Get your insurance information, license number, if possible and report your insurance. If prices have increased, you have to shop for another insurance company. I went to American Family for the automotive, household, an umbrella with much lower prices. Do you know your agent, ask them to inform you of updates, new changes.
