Last night i was driving in the rain and i hit a yield sign. I ran the sign down and it got stuck in the grill of my car. I did not report it. My car damage was was 1800 and my deductable is 500….Do you think progressive will cover the cost?

No other way to say this….You were negligent not to report this. You knocked down a traffic sign. What happens when someone unfamiliar drives that area and doesn’t know to yield? You may well be responsible for another accident. Contact the police and file a report and then contact your insurance.
