Most insurance companies require every licenced driver in a household to be listed as potential drivers on the policy. You are probably listed somewhere

hopefully you will lose your licence and go to jail

Woah, Chuck Norris is harsh! It depends, I think your dad is ultimately responsible, if the driver you hit tries to file a claim on his insurance and they deny it because you’re not covered, he might be stuck with the bill.

The company should cover the accident, but they will want you added as a driver if you drive often–say more than once a month, and get the premium for it. If they find out that you’ve been driving dad’s car for a while, they could cancel the policy.
