Do you have a rental yet? Sometimes that hurries insurance companies up. If it doesn’t you at least have wheels.

You need to contact the at fault driver’s insurance company and report the loss. They will contact their insured and confirm the details of the accident. If you have a police report, ask the adjuster if you can fax it over to them.

While the investigation is pending, the other company will likely make arrangements to have our vehicle appraised.

If insurance company will not accept liability until they reach their insured even if liability is probable(rearend accident).

The process usually takes less than 30 days if the other party cooperates with the insurance company.
