I had an accident two months ago.some damage to the rear driver side and the bumper.I fixed the bumper but the rear dreiver side along withe the tail light still messed up.recently my car was hit during parking.i got the insurance from the person who hit.small scratch to the bumper.can i claim or not.
ask the insurance company
You can claim with the other insurance company but only for the damage that the other driver caused. You would not be able to collect for previous damage. You didn’t say what happened in the first accident. You can talk with your insurance company about the remaining damage to the rear driver side and if you still have the receipts from your repair to the bumper, you can give that to the auto damage adjuster and he will adjust his estimate to account for your out of pocket repair expenses. Hope this helps.
No. It is illegal to claim prior damage to the latest person who scratched your car. Be careful, it is called insurance fraud and people have gone to jail for trying it
